Our website sets no cookies of its own. It also stores nothing else in your browser, such as local or session storage. There are no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising, and your browser loads nothing from third-party domains: fonts, scripts, images and videos all come from our own hosting. That is why you see no cookie banner.

Our scripts read a few display settings that your browser provides, such as screen size and pixel density, the type of pointer, a reduced-motion preference and data saver, to adapt animations, images and videos to your device. They read these settings in your browser and store none of them.

One exception lies outside our code. During an attack, or when it rates a request as risky, the attack protection of Hostinger, our hosting provider, may first show a short browser check. After a successful check, Hostinger stores a verification cookie in your browser; Hostinger does not publish its name or lifetime. We do not read or use this cookie. It serves the security of the website and is strictly necessary for it, so it does not need your consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG; Art. 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive).

If we ever add a feature that stores or reads information on your device and is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
